Welcome

It’s hard to start therapy for the first time, or to start with a new therapist. Making changes can be daunting for all of us, and it is not unusual to feel anxious, sad, or stuck. Yet change is the only constant in life. If you are an adult struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or other strong emotions that interfere with your life, I can help.

We will use your inherent strengths to help you experience happiness and joy, even while grappling with difficult emotions that are also part of a normal life. I will actively listen and not judge, since there is no right or wrong way. Let’s find the most effective way for you to move forward.

Therapeutic Approach

As we build a trusting relationship, we will discuss the areas in which you would like help. Since there is no one treatment that fits everyone, I have training in a variety of disciplines that will help us tailor a personalized plan for addressing your specific needs. My training is strength-based, and includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), among other targeted therapies.
